Carlotta
Masquerade -
this was a great costume - a tenth
of the weight of the others. Very sexy....

Oh, I cringe when I see that apple!
I'm sure that if I'd had to throw that apple in the audition I'd never
have got the part. At the time, my sports skills were appalling and I hit
poor Wendy Purdy in the back of the head one night, almost smashed a light
at a rehearsal and rolled the apple into the orchestra pit one night too!!

Carlotta -
this is the costume that opens
"Phantom" which is a thrilling entrance both as actor and singer. The
costume weighs 20kgs with a strong corset underneath so that your waist
can stand the thing. I had to learn to sing the role with the weight of
the costume.

'Rhapsody in Red....'
Here's the gorgeous Dale Burridge
(with whom I got to work a second time when he was playing Raoul in
'Phantom'), with my dear friend and unbelievable musician, Julia
Messenger (bridesmaid at my wedding too!), plus the incredibly beautiful
and super-business woman (from whom I learnt many new tricks), Dianna
Nixon.
